Budapest Dance Theatre, founded in 1991 by Béla Földi, winner of the Harangozó and Jeszenszky Awards, the Republican Cross of Merit, and in 2017 by the Best Artist of the Year Award-winning choreographer and dance artist, as well as by the Dance Art Award-winning dance teacher, is one of the most important companies in Hungarian contemporary dance.
